Widely known as the lead guitarist extraordinaire of the incomparable progressive-minded heavy metal innovators AMORPHIS, Esa Holopainen embarks on a solo trip for the first time in three decades: Under the banner of SILVER LAKE, he teamed up with some of his long-time friends – superb vocalists such as Anneke van Giersbergen (ex-The Gathering, VUUR), Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), Einar Solberg (Leprous), Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis), and Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) to name but a few. At the initiation of renowned producer Nino Laurenne, the brilliantly diverse vibes of this mesmerizing debut album came to life in the famous Helsinki-based recording facility Sonic Pump.
